Bridge #32-5.14 is in need of rehabilitation as the existing concrete box beams are deteriorating. The bridge will have the existing deteriorated pre-stressed concrete box beam deck replaced with a new wider pre-stressed composite concrete box beam deck utilizing the existing concrete abutments. The bridge project cost is estimated at $450,000 and will be bid out to a Contractor. The construction of the bridge project will be funded by the Warren County Engineer and the Ohio Public Works Commission. The bridge project was designed by Palmer Engineering and is scheduled to start construction during late summer of 2019. A 200 foot section of retaining wall, downstream of the bridge, will also be replaced as part of this project. The wall project cost is estimated at $200,000 and will be constructed by the same Contractor. The wall construction will be funded by the Warren County Engineer. The wall replacement was designed by Terracon Consultants, Inc. and will be constructed at the same time as the bridge work. The bridge and retaining wall are located on Socialville-Fosters Road between Western Row Road and Old 3C Highway in Deerfield Township.
