Stormwater District - Rain Gardens

RAIN GARDENS



The WCEO took steps to reduce its own storm water runoff in 2008 by installing a rain garden in front of our facility on Markey Road. This garden receives rainwater from the office's rooftop and allows it to percolate into the soil through its "bowl" shape and its native, deep-rooted plants.
