Road Restrictions

Each construction season we are diligently working to maintain and improve our county road system. To make your travel more convenient in Warren County we have provided the following list of upcoming and current county road restrictions. Make note of whether to expect delays because of closures and/or currently under construction areas.

ROAD CLOSURE - Chamberlain Road (TR 107)
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP
effective September 13, 2010

Chamberlain Road (TR 107) will be closing starting Monday, September 13, 2010 for twelve (12) weeks, weather permitting.

Location:    between at the intersection of Chamberlain Road and Morning Star Road

Purpose:    retaining wall and culvert replacement project

Detour:    Martz-Paulin Road, Franklin-Trenton Road, and Franklin-Madison Road

ROAD CLOSURE - Socialville-Fosters Road (CR 32)
DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP
effective September 13, 2010

Improvements at the Columbia Road and Socialville-Fosters Road Intersection will begin Monday, September 13, 2010. The first closure involved in the project will be on Socialville-Fosters Road and last for four (4) weeks (weather permitting).

Location:    between Columbia Road and Strawberry Hill Lane

Purpose:    Intersection Improvements

Detour:    Landen Drive, US 22/3, and Columbia Road

ROAD CLOSURE - Dry Run Road Bridge (BR 81-0.05)
VILLAGE OF SOUTH LEBANON | UNION TOWNSHIP
effective September 13, 2010

The Dry Run Road Bridge (BR 81-0.05) will be closed for eight (8) weeks beginning September 13, 2010, weather permitting.

Location:    200 ft NE of Lebanon Road

Purpose:    Bridge Rehabilitation

Detour:    Snook Road, Shawhan Road, Morrow Road, Mary Ellen Street, Forrest Avenue, Section Street, Pike Street, and Lebanon Road

ROAD CLOSURE - Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road (CR 38)
SALEM TOWNSHIP
effective August 30, 2010

Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road (CR38) will be closed for a culvert replacement on August 30, 2010 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (weather permitting). They will also be raising the profile of Riverside Lane to improve the safety of the intersection. Riverside Lane will be closed south of Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road for two (2) weeks.

Location:    between Anderson Road and Brant Road

Purpose:    culvert replacement

Detour:    SR 123 to Brant Road

ROAD CLOSURE - Staley Road (TR 116)
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP
effective August 17, 2010

Staley Road (TR116) will be closed for a culvert replacement on August 17, 2010 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (weather permitting).

Location:    between Pennyroyal Road and Queen Avenue

Purpose:    culvert replacement

Detour:    Pennyroyal Road to Dixie Highway to Craigs Run Road

ROAD CLOSURE - Greentree Road (CR 20)
TURTLECREEK TOWNSHIP
effective September 7, 2010

Greentree Road (CR 20) will be closed for ten (10) weeks beginning September 7, 2010, weather permitting.

Location:    4500 block

Purpose:    road improvements ahead

Detour:    Shaker Road, Hendrickson Road, Union Road

ROAD CLOSURE - Liberty-Keuter Road (TR 95)
TURTLECREEK TOWNSHIP
effective July 19, 2010

The closure for the project began on July 19 and will now be extended two (2) additional weeks due to unforeseen utility relocation. The project will be completed on September 24, 2010 (weather permitting).

Location:    Between SR 123 and Timbercreek Drive

Purpose:    Culvert Replacement Project

Detour:    The detour will be routed using Wilmington Road (CR 7) and Oregonia Road (CR 12).
