Biography
Neil F. Tunison, P.E., P.S. took office as the Warren County Engineer in January 1997, following his election in 1996. Mr. Tunison joined the Engineer's Office in 1986 after 10 years of employment in the private sector with consulting engineer firms. During the 10 years of service in office prior to his election as County Engineer, he served as Bridge Engineer, Assistant County Engineer and Chief Deputy Engineer for a 4-year period.
He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Neil is a board member of District 10 of the Ohio Public Works Commission and has served on the board of the County Engineer's Association of Ohio.
Honored statewide, the County Engineers Association of Ohio, presented Neil Tunison with the 2004 County Engineer of the Year award at the association's winter conference November 30, 2004 in Columbus. Mr.Tunison was praised for his work with storm water and drainage issues.
Neil, and his wife, Connie, make their home in Lebanon. They are members of Lebanon Presbyterian Church and active in other civic organizations. They have three grown children.
