Future Projects

Fields Ertel Road & Columbia Road / Lebanon Road Intersection
To reduce congestion and improve safety and mobility through the
intersection, the Warren County Engineer's Office and Hamilton County
Engineer's Office plans to add a turning lane in each direction
and a four way traffic signal.

Fosters-Maineville Road and Butterworth Road Intersection Improvements
The Warren County Engineer is working on a project to improve the intersection of Fosters-Maineville Road and Butterworth Road. Currently, the high accident intersection has limited sight distance for traffic turning off of Butterworth Road onto Fosters-Maineville Road and for traffic turning left off of Fosters-Maineville Road onto Butterworth Road. Fosters-Maineville Road will be realigned to the south to improve the intersection sight distance to the required ODOT standards. A retaining wall will be added along the south side of the road to accommodate the realignment. A left turn lane will also be added on Fosters-Maineville in an effort to eliminate rear end accidents and to improve sight distance for left turning vehicles. Currently the project is in the design phase, which is being completed by Henderson and Bodwell for $92,950. Construction, which is estimated to cost $700,000, is planned for the future depending on available funding.
