Chamberlain Road – Construction Ahead

Franklin Township

Lebanon, Ohio – Neil F. Tunison, the Warren County Engineer, would like to announce that Chamberlain Road (TR 107) will be closing for a retaining wall and culvert replacement project, starting Monday, September 13, 2010 for twelve (12) weeks, weather permitting.

The closure will be between at the intersection of Chamberlain Road and Morning Star Road. Construction will be completed by the Langenheim & Thomson Company.

The detour for the project will be routed using Martz-Paulin Road, Franklin-Trenton Road, and Franklin-Madison Road.



Liberty-Keuter Road – Extended Closure

Turtlecreek Township

Lebanon, Ohio – Liberty-Keuter Road is currently closed for a culvert replacement project located between SR 123 and Timbercreek Drive. The closure for the project began on July 19 and will now be extended two (2) additional weeks due to unforeseen utility relocation. The project will be completed on September 24, 2010 (weather permitting).

The detour will continue to be routed using Wilmington Road (CR 7) and Oregonia Road (CR 12).




Socialville-Fosters Road – Intersection Improvements Begin

Deerfield Township

Lebanon, Ohio – Neil F. Tunison, the Warren County Engineer, would like to announce that improvements at the Columbia Road and Socialville-Fosters Road Intersection will begin Monday, September 13, 2010. The first closure involved in the project will be on Socialville-Fosters Road and last for four (4) weeks (weather permitting).

The closure will be between Columbia Road and Strawberry Hill Lane. Construction is being performed by Barrett Paving Materials, Inc.

The detour for this closure will utilize Landen Drive, US 22/3, and Columbia Road.

Dry Run Road Bridge – Eight Week Bridge Rehabilitation Project

Village of South Lebanon | Union Township

Lebanon, Ohio – Neil F. Tunison, the Warren County Engineer, would like to announce that Dry Run Road Bridge (BR 81-0.05) will be closed on Dry Run Road approximately 200 feet north of the Lebanon Road for a bridge rehabilitation project. The closure will begin on Monday, September 13, 2010 and last about eight (8) weeks, weather permitting.

The Warren County Highway Department will be performing the work of removing the existing concrete bridge and replacing it with a box culvert.

The detour of the closure will utilize Snook Road, Shawhan Road, Morrow Road, Mary Ellen Street, Forrest Avenue, Section Street, Pike Street, and Lebanon Road.


Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road – Expect One-Day Road Closure

Salem Township

Lebanon, Ohio – Neil F. Tunison, the Warren County Engineer and the Salem Township Trustees, would like to announce that the Warren County Highway Department will be replacing a culvert on Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road (CR 38) at the Riverside Lane intersection. The one (1) day closure for the culvert replacement will be on August 30, 2010 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (weather permitting).

Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road will be closed for the culvert replacement between Anderson Road and Brant Road. They will also be raising the profile of Riverside Lane to improve the safety of the intersection. Riverside Lane will be closed south of Mason-Morrow-Millgrove Road for two (2) weeks.

The detour for the culvert replacement will be routed using SR 123 and Brant Road.


Greentree Road – Road Improvements Ahead

Turtlecreek Township

Lebanon, Ohio – The Warren County Engineer’s Office will be constructing the first phase of the Greentree Road Improvements beginning Tuesday, September 7, 2010. The closure is scheduled to last ten (10) weeks with a completion date of November 16, 2010, weather permitting.

Currently Greentree Road, between Shaker Run Blvd. and Meadow View Lane, has a large hump in the road causing poor sight distance. The planned improvements involve widening this section of Greentree Road to 3-lanes along with changes to the vertical profile, as needed, to improve sight distance. John R. Jurgensen Construction will be performing the work.

The detour will be utilizing Shaker Road, Hendrickson Road, and Union Road. The detour will be posted.



Staley Road – Expect One-Day Road Closure

Franklin Township

Lebanon, Ohio – Neil F. Tunison, the Warren County Engineer, would like to announce that the Warren County Highway Department will be replacing a culvert on Staley Road (TR 116), Green Apple Road in Montgomery County. The one (1) day closure will be on August 17, 2010 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (weather permitting).

Staley Road will be closed for the culvert replacement between Pennyroyal Road and Queen Avenue.

The detour for the culvert replacement will be routed using Pennyroyal Road to Dixie Highway to Craigs Run Road.



Drake Road – Road Closure Update

Clearcreek Township

Lebanon, Ohio – Construction is still underway for a realignment project on Drake Road (TR100). The closure will now extend until August 23, 2010. The closure is at the intersection of Drake Road and Old SR 122 in Clearcreek Township. The closure started June 7, 2010 and will end August 23, 2010, weather permitting.

The safety improvements for the skewed three-way intersection of Drake Road at Old SR 122 include realigning the intersection to have a right angle. In addition, the alignment of Drake Road is being adjusted and widened, from the intersection, south to the Turtlecreek / Clearcreek Township Line. W.G. Stang Company is performing the construction.

The detour will continue to be Miller Road, State Route 48, to Old State Route 122.



Foster-Maineville Road – Road Culvert Replacement

Hamilton Township

Lebanon, Ohio – Neil F. Tunison, the Warren County Engineer, would like to announce that the Warren County Highway Department will be closing Foster-Maineville Road (CR 23) for a culvert replacement, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., during the week of July 26, 2010, weather permitting.

The closure will be between Zoar Road and Swigert Road on Foster-Maineville Road.

The detour for the culvert replacement will be routed using Zoar Road, US 22/ SR 3, and Morrow-Cozaddale Road.

Lytle-Ferry Rd Bridge – Eight Week Bridge Rehabilitation Project

Wayne Township

Lebanon, Ohio – Neil F. Tunison, the Warren County Engineer, would like to announce that Lytle-Ferry Road Bridge (BR 135-0.48) will be closed on Lytle-Ferry Road approximately 1,000 feet north of Lytle Road for a bridge rehabilitation project. The closure will begin on Monday, July 19, 2010 and last about eight (8) weeks, weather permitting.

The Warren County Highway Department will be performing the work of removing the existing concrete bridge and replacing it with a box culvert.

The detour of the closure will utilize Lytle Road, Ferry Road, and Social Row Road (Greene County).
