Wilmington Road, Turtlecreek Township, Road Closure.

Lebanon, Ohio – Turtlecreek Township, Ohio – Beginning Monday, June 18, 2018, Wilmington Road shall be closed for 3 weeks, weather permitting, for a bank stabilization project. GeoStabilization International, or GSI, will be performing the stabilization on behalf of the Warren County Engineer utilizing a soil-nail launching system into the side slope of the roadway. The cost of the project is $251,230.

The road closure will be located just west of the Liberty Keuter Road intersection, between addresses #2144 & #2219. The detour for the closure will utilize Oregonia Road and Waynesville Road.

County Engineers in Ohio are required by law to be registered as both Professional Engineers (P.E.) and Professional Surveyors (P.S.) They are responsible for the maintenance and construction of county roads and maintenance and construction of bridges on county roads, township roads, and certain streets within municipalities. They are also responsible for maintaining land surveying records, checking the accuracy and adequacy of recorded land transfer documents, and establishing or re-establishing certain land survey monuments.
